After 9 years of running a creative business while raising three kids, I’ve realized something I probably should have known all along:
Creativity doesn’t clock in and out.
It doesn’t just show up in the brands we build, the websites we design, or the client work we obsess over. It shows up at the kitchen table with markers everywhere. In the books stacked next to the couch. In the bins I buy because I’m convinced this one will finally solve the art supply chaos. In the little things that help our days feel more organized, inspired, and fun.
And with three kids, a business, school papers, snacks, backpacks, activities, laundry, and approximately 400 half-used notebooks floating around the house… I’ll take all the help I can get.
So, I finally created an Amazon storefront.
Not because we suddenly became product influencers overnight. Not because our house is perfectly organized. Please. It's absolutely not.
But because we’re constantly finding things we actually use and love, and I wanted one simple place to keep them all.
We’re a creative family, but we’re also a very real family.
There are art supplies on the table. Books in every room. Random treasures in pockets. Kids asking to make something right before dinner. A dog walking through someone’s watercolor project. This is normal...right?!
Over time, we’ve found certain things that genuinely make life easier or more fun.
The markers our kids reach for again and again.
The books that spark really good conversations.
The bins and organizers that help contain some of the chaos.
The everyday finds that make me think, “Okay, that was actually worth it.”
That’s what this storefront is for.
A curated place for the things that have earned their spot in our home, our work, and our family rhythm.
This is probably the category I’m most excited about.
As a mom and a designer, I love giving my kids access to good creative tools. Not fancy or precious — just supplies that make them want to sit down and create.
A solid set of markers. Good paper. Colored pencils that don’t break immediately. Paint sticks that don’t require a full cleanup operation. Sidewalk chalk. Watercolors. POSCA markers for rock painting, which has become one of our favorite low-effort summer activities.
I’m always looking for activities that don’t require me to turn the house into a full craft studio. Give me simple. Give me colorful. Give me something that keeps the kids engaged and doesn’t take 45 minutes to set up.
That’s the kind of stuff I’ll be sharing here.
Books are a big part of our home.
They’re how we wind down, how we start conversations, how we talk about feelings, differences, kindness, confidence, and all the things that can be hard to explain in the moment.
Some books are just fun. Some are beautiful. Some make your kid ask a question you weren’t expecting while you’re just trying to get everyone to bed. Those are usually the best ones.
I’ll be sharing the children’s books we love, the read-aloud favorites, and the stories that connect to so much of what we care about — helping kids feel seen, proud of who they are, and more compassionate toward others.
Of course, that’s also the heart behind our own children’s book, What Makes You… YOU! So this category feels especially close to home.
Let me be clear: this is not a “perfectly organized home” situation.
We have three kids, a dog, a work from home business, school activities, art projects, packed lunches, sports stuff / after school activities, and tiny objects that appear out of nowhere and apparently cannot be thrown away because they are “special.”
So when I talk about organization, I mean real-life organization.
The kind that helps mornings feel a little smoother and easier to find the thing you need without tearing apart an entire drawer.
The kind that makes the house feel a little less chaotic without pretending anyone here is living in a showroom.
I love a good bin. Labels, Labels, labels! I love a system that actually sticks. And when we find something that works, I’ll share it.
Some things don’t fit into a specific category. They’re just the little things that make the day better.
A favorite water bottle. A notebook I keep reaching for. A kitchen item that saves time. A cozy thing the kids steal. A small solution to a tiny daily annoyance.
These are the kinds of finds that don’t feel dramatic, but somehow become part of the rhythm of your life.
And honestly, those are often the things I want recommended to me the most.
Not the “must-have” thing everyone is pushing, it the thing someone actually uses.
At first, I wondered if this felt random.
We build personal brands and websites. We work with clients on strategy, visuals, messaging, and digital experiences.
So where does an Amazon storefront fit?
But the more I thought about it, the more it made sense.
Our work has always been about creating things with intention. Making things feel clear, useful, beautiful, and aligned. Helping people build something that feels like them.
And that doesn’t stop with client work.
It shows up in how we raise our kids, how we set up our home, how we encourage creativity, how we choose what we bring into our space, and how we try — imperfectly — to build a life that feels inspired and manageable, and just... more us.
I’ll be adding lists over time, but right now I’m starting with things like:
Nothing overly curated. Just the stuff that has made its way into our real life and stayed there.
If you’re also trying to build a home that feels a little more creative, a little more organized, and a little more fun, I hope this becomes a helpful place to browse. :)
Here is that Storefront.
More lists coming soon!
